How does RecyFert work with the Gilbert FPR software?

In simple words
RecyFert builds and finalises your dossier in the Gilbert FPR software. You choose one of two routes. In route 1 you use RecyFert's licence and you can view your dossier. In route 2 you buy your own access and you give RecyFert edit rights. In both routes you stay responsible.
Words in this article
- Gilbert FPR software
- The online software in which RecyFert builds your dossier.
- Dossier
- RecyFert's word for the full file for one product. It includes the technical documentation and the declaration of conformity.
- Economic operator
- A company in the supply chain. This means the manufacturer, the authorised representative, the importer or the distributor.
- Notified body
- An independent organisation that an EU country has approved to check products or quality systems. Some modules need one.
- Competent national authority
- A government body in an EU country that checks if products follow the rules. It is also called a market surveillance authority.
Route 1: use the RecyFert licence
RecyFert pays for the software and puts all information in the system. You can look at your dossier, comment and approve. You do not buy any software. You can move to your own licence later.
Route 2: buy your own access
You buy a licence from Gilbert RegTech. You give RecyFert edit rights in your system. RecyFert builds the dossier inside it. You keep the freedom to work in it yourself. You can take over the editing at any time. Archiving is included in your Gilbert licence.
Two related companies
RecyFert Consulting Services gives regulatory advice. Gilbert RegTech builds the software that RecyFert uses. The two companies are related. RecyFert tells you this openly.
Who decides?
RecyFert prepares and stores the dossier. The manufacturer or other economic operator stays responsible. The notified body or the authority decides if the product follows the rules.
